Miss Azelynn

Check out this gorgeous red hair! Isn’t she so cute…..Azelynn is two years old and such a smiley little girl. She came in the door with the biggest smile on her face. All I could think is “this is gonna be a super session”.  And it was!

Typically two year olds are a little restless in the studio, but her mom and I stayed 2 steps ahead of her always ready with a bribe. Yeah for bribes! Yeah for parents who let me! I always just hope it doesn’t backfire when they leave here.

I just can’t get over how adorable Azelynn is. I especially love her name! I thought the little black tutu was so sweet on her and then her mom put her little Easter outfit on and the blue was just an amazing color on her….. btw, the black tutu outfit is here for your baby girls to use!  Can hardly wait to see them!

Great job Azelynn! I am so proud of you!

Love + Love = More Love

Happy happy time for Rachelle and Mike. Their little baby girl is due in about a month….I can hardly wait to meet this little one! First baby girl for both Grandparents….and first niece in a large group of aunts and uncles. I can just imagine how loved she is going to be.

I so excited to learn what her name will be. It’s just like the best surprise…..and I LOVE surprises!

Well a huge thank you goes out to Cyndi Drnjevic from The Cottage Antiques here in Salmon, she had the most amazing old iron bed that worked so perfectly with this session, and also the new-to-me white wicker chair that I just fell in love with, so I bought it……plus the best fabric swag for the old window. These pieces were the cherries on top of this specially stylized session. Thanks Cyndi for your help. You are awesome!  I’m gonna have to pick your brain more often!

Rachelle and Mike always let me play with their sessions. I get out of the box most of the time with what I want to do with them, but they always just make the sessions better that I could have hoped for. They really make their images believable and unbelievable!  This was a super fun session!

Rachelle’s beautiful little henna tummy totally added the perfect touch of her personality. Just the thing that this session needed!

This big old room was perfect just the way it was when I walked into it. I had been there several years ago so I remembered that I wanted to use it. The cold temperature of the room and the dust all over was a little difficult, but overall just added to the character…..Rachelle braved the cold but we stood by with her warm jacket between shots cuz I was too mean to let her wear it during…..just wasn’t quite the look we were going for. Ha!

Rachelle and Mike love the Lord passionately…..their baby girl will grow up doing the same. I am so happy to be blessed enough to capture some milestone memories that will someday show her how awesome her parents are and how much they love her……

Jessica - Oh Carrie, these are so amazing! I know this couple will treasure these pictures forever. Beautiful expecting mom-to-be. Love her tummy too!

Kim Browne - WoW...these are special. I just love every thing you do with these two, even though I don't know them, you can see what a love affair they have.

fun weekend

Whitney, her boys and I took off for Bozeman again this weekend. We had two beautiful days of sunshine and warm weather to drive over to see Ty, Jamie and Kaytriel since Joe and Allen and a friend headed to Texas to drop off and pick up some more bucking stock for Allen. They were taking a whirlwind 5 day trip. They went clear down by Houston and home again, barley stopping to sleep a few nights. They had fun, but that’s not the type of trip for us girls so we bugged out for Montana…..   Jate wasn’t able to be there this weekend because he was at a motocross race in Utah. Yep, his season is all the sudden in full force. Besides his life at his busy suspension shop in Bozeman, he drives his PFR Box truck to the races and sets up suspensions for the pro-racers in the Series. He is one busy, busy, guy…….We didn’t get to see Allison either as she went home to Ashton for the weekend to see her family too.   Ty broke his collarbone several weeks ago while snowboarding. It was so unfortunate and he now spends the days now trying to heal up quickly. I know how this is not a fun time for him, but he does get to be around Kaytriel and his beautiful wife for a little while. That is a bonus!!!!!   We arrived in Belgrade where Ty and Jamie live around 1:00 on Sat. We hung out for awhile while we all played and stretched out with the kids, then off we went to the Montana Pottery to exchange my coffee mugs that the kids got me for Christmas to match some others that Allison gave Joe and I. The pottery there was so amazing that all of us girls just soaked up the moments, drooling on so many pieces…. the shop clerk didn’t seem to mind too much Ha! She even let me take some pictures of their cute little shop. The guys had their fill and went outside to play with Uncle Ty. I had to order my mugs to match, so I will get them in a few weeks! Yeah!!!!   We then did the usual Walmart and Costco thing. Uncle Ty bought the boys a motorcross set to play with then we headed back to the house for lasagna, salad and a wonderful loaf of homemade garlic bread that a friend of Ty and Jamie’s made. It was a wonderful meal followed by a wonderful night of visiting until we could no longer stay awake. Then off to bed with us all. The kids have a beautiful big house with several rooms that we all fit so comfortably in. The downstairs is a great playroom where the boys all play darts, wrestle and play video games.   We woke up Sunday morning, had some coffee cake and got ready to go to church at Journey, (this is Jate’s regular church but we had to go without him). What a beautiful Spirit there. We soaked up every little thing about the church and it’s people and especially worship music and then headed off to see the new construction for their new church that will be amazing! We understand Journey is the fastest growing Church in the Gallatin valley. With two services on Sunday with about 600+ people for each service and several services during the week. We can see why……If you are around Bozeman on Sunday you’ve got to go!!!!   Then off to lunch we went and then had to say our good-byes to head home to see the guys who had arrived home several hours earlier.   Joe shared his high-light moments with me last night when I got home, much of which included the good bar-b-ques and food they had, the laughs about several funny and strange people they saw and the amazing bucking stock properties and owners they got to visit with. Such a big, big world that they are barely scratching the surface of. But two excited guys nonetheless……   So, Just a fun weekend with some pictures to share……. oh, boy…. I am so excited for Spring!  We have babies calves ready to be born almost any day now…..So glad it’s getting warmer!

Yes, these are McFarland kids!

Can you tell by their amazing eyelashes? I think they got them from their mommy…..Kimber and Tristan came up to see me today, okay maybe they came up because they knew I had a swing….and I asked mommy if they could, but it was so fun to see them again. Time has just flown so fast! Last time I saw Kimber she did everything but run out of the studio. But today she just was so content and happy to be here. We had a great session….and they helped me get all ready for Easter. Just a few more tweaks.

Tristan is almost one year old and is such a handsome little man. I just love his new Easter suit and tie. Mom had so many cute clotes for them as usual, but they would have looked adorable in anything!

I’m going to have to have them back when the bunny and ducks get here! Thanks for helping me out today Kimber and Tristan! You are so much fun!
