Travis and Emily’s amazing wedding took place at the Bride’s parent’s property in Reed Point Montana. It was a beautiful location close to the river where many of their wedding guests and wedding party stayed in tents and campers.

The Rehearsal Dinner and celebration took place the night before at the Grand Hotel. The Grand was built in the 1800′s in Big Timber MT. and it has been restored but many of the features have been preserved to make it feel like you are staying in a really old Hotel. Emily got Joe and I a room there too, so I was able to hang out and get tons of pictures of the Wedding Party, friends and family as they celebrated at the Rehearsal Dinner and then where the girls got ready the day of the wedding

While the girls were getting ready, all the guys went golfing. I can’t really say who had a better time, because I know both Emily and Travis were enjoying the day immensly.

The wedding started with many of the guests arriving and being seated in the large open pasture. The weather was really warm, but I think that added to the charm of the whole atmosphere.

Travis and the Pastor walked to the front to start the ceremony followed by the wedding party. Then we all got a glimpse of beautiful Emily walking so down the hill with her Father and the Bag Pipes playing so statley behind her. This was a real tear jerker for me. Emily and her Daddy and very close, so this was a special time for them both.

Emily’s look at Travis when she arrived to the altar was so precious. Her face said it all. Travis just smiled and then kissed her on the cheek.

The ceremony was so personalized by Travis and Emily, it included many really funny things about the couple that made us laugh alot and then the uniquely customized vows that they promised to each other. Overall, this wedding was uniquely Travis and Sal! (that’s Emily’s nickname that everyone calls her). Just the way it should be.

Travis and Emily are among many Jeeping friends. Thus the Jeep theme! The whole wedding party owns Jeeps and they take off several times a year for weeks at a time just to hit the mountains and go Jeeping and be together! It sounded like so much fun when Emily told me what they do, but then their plans for about 8 Jeeps full of people to hit the hills and jump out for their traditional spontaneous dance after the wedding ceremony, was what put this wedding over the edge! The tradition is alot like a chinese fire drill from what I understand. They all just stop radomly in the mountains and just jump out and start dancing, then jump back in and are on their way again. I know…..sounds fun huh?

Great friendships forever is what I will remember most about this wedding. Travis and Emily incorporated the people and things most important to them so perfectly. It truly was a wonderful and most memorable day for them all……and I felt like I fit right in! Thanks for asking me to be a part of your special day…..

God bless you as you start your married lives together! And God bless your family and friendships always…..

Brielle and Jack came home with their Mommy for a visit. They are growing so much! Jack just started walking 8 days before these pictures were taken. It is so cute to see his wobbly little legs figure all that walkin stuff out.

Brielle and Jack came to my house to visit where these pictures were taken. They were in love with the idea of picking bush cherries. What a super idea for a few fun pictures! Brielle just kept on task the whole time. We all moved to the front yard and she just kept on picking! She got a whole half a bucket by herself. She was so excited! She even had some to take home and show her Gramma and Grampa.

Then Jack discovered the faucet and loved playing in the water. It cooled him right off. Next Brielle came to join us where her Mommy had caught a butterfly and gave it to Brielle. She loved it! She is trying to catch it in the lower photo in the collage.

I sure enjoyed seeing this special family. They are dear friends whom I’ve missed so much! Hope to see you again real soon! XOXOXOXO
