Katrielle (Kay-tree-elle) Ruth Heaps is here and is as beautiful as we could have ever imagined! God is sooooooo good!
Katrielle arrived on July 25th 2009 at 12:35 pm
She weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz. and was 19¼” long.
Ty and Jamie had a beautiful natural birth with their midwife and RN at the Birthing Center in Bozeman, Montana.
It was a wonderful experience for them both.
Many of you have been notified of Katrielle’s arrival but not many of you know that their were complications with Jamie shortly after the birth.
Jamie had a rare situation in that her placenta would not deliver on it’s own. It ended up being attached to the uterine wall instead of the uterine lining like normal. This did not affect the pregnancy at all, in fact was never noted until after the delivery.
The result was that Jamie was taken by ambulance to the hospital where she underwent emergency surgery to remove the placenta. In the process, Jamie lost alot of blood.
It is so amazing how many of you heard the voice of the Lord in knowing to pray even after you heard of Katrielle’s arrival. That blesses us more than you will ever know.
It was a time when we all hit our knees lifting Jamie up because it was a very critical situation that since then we have learned how easily we could have lost Jamie. But God had better plans! In sparing all of the extremely emotional details, it is just important to know now that Jamie is doing great! She has a healing process to go through that we know the Lord will intervene in and make quick to pass. Her hematocryt levels are climbing and she even gets to go home today.
Jamie’s Mom and Dad are staying with Ty and Jamie for awhile and will take wonderful care of them all. They are great in giving us details since we are back home now and won’t see them for awhile. Steve and Susan are such a blessing to us all! It is so wonderful to have Christian In-Laws! I can’t say that enough!
Our beautiful little Katrielle is doing great too! as well as her new Daddy, who is just as fabulous as he can be. He is absolutely in love with his little baby girl and his precious wife. God has truly blessed this little family as we only know full well. He has great plans for them and this is just the beginning!
