Shayle was so easy to work with, she just listened and tryed hard to pull off each of the poses without looking like she “wasn’t” a pro at this kind of stuff. After awhile, I couldn’t even tell.

Already in her Senior year, for just over a week, she has been so busy thinking of all the college stuff ahead of her, including the SAT’s. Whew! I remember what she is facing and I am so glad those days are over!

Hope you have a super fantastic year Shayle, it was nice getting to know you and spend some fun hours with you and Kim. Oh yeah, thanks Kim for all your help! You were amazing! I will be in touch soon!

Jackkie told me that she wanted some “out of the box, edgey” Senior Portraits. This is awesome, cause that is what I have fallen totally in love doing and I think that is totally what she got! It takes a team to pull this kind of session off. We have to think on the same page and visualize everything we try.

Jackkie’s friend Katie showed up to help with her portraits. She was the official holder of all things for the session and did a little fetching of items that we needed. I got a kick out of Katie, cause she was really enjoying the junkyard! She even recognized a few of the old vehicles that had been hauled off from her Grampa’s place. Katie didn’t like the lightening at all though. She was ready to run for cover in an old truck when it started up.  She was so funny. Thanks so much for your help Katie, I sure enjoyed you being along!

Katie’s house and property were just surrounded by the beautiful mountains that I just wanted to stare at. I even got to hear a bird that sounded like he was calling my name. I couldn’t believe it!  Never heard that kind of bird before…..

Katie’s friend Kim showed up to help to help us out. Lots of laughs between the two friends. I can tell they have fun together! Kim is expecting pay-back help from Katie in October when she gets her Senior pictures taken. Kim, I wonder what Prince is doing now?  (Prince is a baby frog that Kim found at the pond. He still even had his little tail on!) I told her to put him on her nose and I would take a picture. She did!

Katie is really excited for her Senior year to start. She and Kim are the new assistants to the football team and will be traveling to all the games. It’s fun to see girls enjoy football.

We really enjoyed the weather for Katie’s session, as it was super rainy right before we started but it cleared off and was just amazing for the next several hours. We got to go up to a beautiful pond up from her house where we hung out for awhile, then we went further up the creek to one of Katie’s favorite spots to get the final shots of her on the winding dirt road. Hard not to want to take off and go pick huckleberries!
