Sisters Hailey and Shelby came to get their Easter pictures!
Hailey was so fond of the little bunny whose name was Kiwi. Miss Shanda’s bunny came already handled by many children, so it was all tame so Hailey could hold him. Hailey was a busy little 2½ year old and she had many ideas about her pictures, but cooperated very nicely to get them done.
It’s fun for me to allow the kids to come up with their own ideas about pictures, and it seems they always do. I just have to be ready to tweak their idea into something that will work nicely for a portrait. Sometimes they really surprise me with their great ideas.
Little Shelby is 3 months old and allowed us to play with her in the little tutu. She liked laying on the bean bag better than sitting in the bumbo chair. Babies and children are the best directors of their sessions. If I can complete the session within their time frame, it works……they do all seem to have a moment though when you just know they’re done. Then I find myself musing back through my mind just hoping that I captured those ”just right” shots.
I think Hailey and Shelby made it a real successful session. What adorable little Easter sweeties!
