Merry Christmas!

I am so sincerely honored to have been invited by all of you to capture the many days of memories that wraps up the beautiful year of 2009. May I say with my whole heart that I wish you all the most wonderful Christmas with your friends and family.

To those who are not at home and are serving our country and to their precious families,  my heart and prayers are especially with you at this time that you are apart. May you know that our appreciation is the utmost for you all in your sacrifice. Thank you for your willing hearts to serve.

God bless you all in this wonderful season that we celebrate our Savior’s Birth…….Merry Christmas!

Want to know how to take some amazing Christmas tree pictures? Throw a kid or two in there if you have them!

1. Use Manual setting and a tripod. And NO Flash!

2. Set your ISO to 1600 or higher (800 should be fine in daylight)

3. Close your aperture down to f/11  to  f/14

3. Slow your shutter speed way down (you will have to bracket your shots) this means trying out different shutter speeds till you get the right exposure. Tell the kiddos not to move a muscle! Try putting a sleeping baby under the tree! It’s adorable.

4.  If it’s night time, turn on ambient lights around the tree, all other room lighting should be off.

Email me some of your pictures, I would love to see them!!!!!
