Wylie and Jace spent the weekend with us. We had so much fun. We had a dinner and a movie night Friday. We had chicken and dumplings and watched Air Bud and Santa Claus 3, and then made a cake for desert. The next morning I fixed french toast for everyone and then we landed in the studio for these pictures of them in their snow hats that they got from a someone nice in Leadore who made the whole Tendoy school hats. I was glad to get a few keeper shots cause it was sure a giggle session. Then we went outside and we all played baseball. We only lost a few balls. Papa’s puppy Camo insisted on fetching and slobbering on all the balls. Next we came in for lunch and then ran up to the sledding hill with our blow up canoe and a few snowboards and a flat innertube. We thought it would be great fun to sled down the hill in the canoe. It didn’t work….and the tube was flat and only lasted 4 runs down for Jace. But the snowboards worked awesome! Wylie proceeded to show us all how much he had learned in the last 6 weeks going snowborading with his school. Papa and I tried it out. Man, that’s harder than it looks! Jace even got in on the fun and I held his hand as he snowboarded down the hill in a much-too-big-for-him-snowboard. He even got to go over the jump at the end! He thought that was terrific! Then after we were all worn out, we jumped in the canoe and Papa pulled us down the road behind his pickup. That was great fun! We came home, got some hot cider and then headed back out for more baseball. You know, baseball is a game that I never get tired of, especially with my Grandsons. Then the boys came back in and had some popcorn with cheese and watched the Bee Movie. Then I had to take them home. What a great way to spend a weekend! I only turned on the computer one time for a few minutes to finish a job. I really needed a fun break! I can hardly wait till they can come back over to play!!!!!!
